Number of winners

• 4 awardees will be selected after oral presentation by the scientific committee.

Eligibility

• Nominees for the award must be the presenting author of an accepted abstract for oral presentation.

Note

There is no application process. All accepted abstracts for oral presentation will be taken into consideration for this award.

Young Investigator Award USD 200 | 10 Awardees

Prize : USD 200 / KRW 200,000

Number of winners

• 10 awardees will be selected after abstract review by the scientific committee.

Eligibility

• Nominees for the award must be born on or after January 1, 1983.
• Nominees for the award must be the first author (lead author) of the accepted abstract.

Application Process

• Check the “Young Investigator Award” box on the abstract submission page.
• Awardees will be required to submit a valid document for proof of age.

Excellent e-Poster Award USD 100 | 20 Awardees

Prize : USD 100 / KRW 100,000

Number of winners

• 20 awardees will be selected after abstract review by the scientific committee.

Eligibility

• Nominees for the award must be the presenting author of an accepted e-Poster abstract.

Note

There is no application process. All accepted e-Poster abstracts will be taken into consideration for this award.

Grants for Foreign Participants

• Only foreign participants (including foreign participants affiliated with universities or hospitals in Korea) may apply.
• You can be a recipient of the e-Travel Grant even without submitting an abstract.

Academic Grant In-person attendance USD 500

Eligibility

• All overseas presenting authors.
• Nominees for the award must be the first author (lead author) of the accepted abstract.
• Awardees will be selected after abstract review by the scientific committee.
• Award recipients are required to attend SIDDS 2023 in person to present their abstracts.

e-Academic Grant USD 70

Eligibility

• All overseas presenting authors.
• Awardees will be selected after abstract review by the scientific committee.

Note

• There is no application process. All accepted oversea abstracts will be taken into consideration for this award.

e-Travel Grant USD 60

Grant : USD 60

Eligibility

• Foreign participants.
• Abstract submission not required to be eligible.
• If you submitted an abstract but not as the presenting author, you are eligible for the grant.
• Award recipients are required to attend SIDDS 2023 in person or on line.

Application Process

• Check the “e-Travel Grant” box in the online registration system.

Note

• Recipients of other awards or grants cannot apply for an e-Travel Grant (duplicate awards are not allowed).

Note

• Foreign participants (including foreign participants affiliated with universities or hospitals in Korea) can apply for both the awards and grants, but only one will be offered.
• Award and grant recipients except Best Oral presentation Award will be notified individually via email in March 3, 2023 before the congress.
• Award and grants will be awarded after the confirmation of the registration payment and log in records during the Congress (April 8~9, 2023).
• Prizes will be transferred by bank wire after the congress
