The SIDDS 2023 Organizing Committee cordially invites you to submit abstracts for SIDDS oral presentation and E-poster. All congress abstracts must be submitted online via the "Online Submission System”.
Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee.
Abstract submission does not constitute registration for the symposium and presenters are required to register for the conference separately. Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.

Presentation Type
- Oral Presentation
: Korean presenters are required to have the presentations at the congress venue (Grand Walkerhill Seoul), but under the unexpected circumstances, it can be substituted to pre-recorded video file and Q&A will be live after streaming of the presentations
- e-Poster
* Authors may choose their presentation preference. However, the Scientific Committee will make the final decision after review.

Submission Guidelines
- Abstracts should be no more than 300 words. Word count only includes the text body of your abstract.
- All abstracts should be written in English, including the title, abstract text, names of the authors, affiliations, and table, figure, or graph.
- Authors may edit and modify submitted abstracts until the submission deadline. It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure the accuracy of the abstract. There will be no additional editing after the deadline.
- A confirmation of the receipt of abstract will be automatically sent to the submitter, presenting author and corresponding author by e-mail upon completion of on-line submission. The contact details you provide must coincide with those of the presenting author and corresponding author, otherwise the presenter will not receive important information about the allocated session(s).
- The right to publish your abstract is granted to the SIDDS 2023 Organizing Committee.
- Presenting authors must register for the conference through the website by March 10 (Fri), 2023.
Structure
- An acceptable structure of an abstract must consist of the following components:

A statement of the hypothesis or research question. |
Method |
An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used. |
Result |
A concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study. Sufficient data must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading the abstract. Statements such as “the data will be discussed” are not acceptable. |
Conclusion |
Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study. |
- Corresponding author's contact details: Email address
- Name(s) of presenting author and co-authors: First name(s) or initials of first name(s), family name (e.g. Sam Lee).
- Affiliation details of all authors: Department, institution/hospital, city and country. Affiliation(s) should be annotated by superscript numbers.
Tables, Graphs and Images
- The submitter is allowed to upload two tables, two graphs or two images only.
- The uploading of graphs, tables, or images counts for 200 words.
- The maximum file size of each graph/image is 500 KB.
- The maximum pixel size of the graph/image is 600(w) x 800(h) pixel.
- You may upload graphs in JPG, GIF, PNG, TEXT, PPT, WORD and EXCEL format.
Notification of Acceptance
- All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to standard review procedures.
- Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to corresponding and presenting authors by March 3(Fri), 2023.
Withdrawal of Abstracts
- The presenting author must register for the meeting during the period of pre-registration. If the presenting author does not complete registering with full payment by March 10(Fri), 2023, the abstract will be withdrawn.
- If you would like to withdraw an abstract, please notify the SIDDS Secretariat in writing as soon as possible(sidds2023@medioffice.or.kr)
Awards & Grants
- Foreign participants (including foreign participants affiliated with universities or hospitals in Korea) can apply for both the awards and grants, but only one will be offered.
- Award and grant recipients except Best Oral presentation Award will be notified individually via email in March 3, 2023 before the congress.
- Award and grants will be awarded after the confirmation of the registration payment and log in records during the Congress (April 8~9, 2023).
- Award and grants will be transferred by bank wire after the congress.
- Recipients of other awards or academic grants cannot apply for an e-Travel Grant (duplicate awards are not allowed).
